The old-growth forest on Mount Wright is a prime example of Québec’s ecological heritage and is one of the last such forests on private land in the eastern part of the province. The park is located in the united townships of Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury, near the entrance to the Laurentian wildlife preserve and about 30 km (18.6 mi.) from downtown Québec City. A total of 6.5 km (4 mi.) of groomed hiking trails are open year-round.
