About Responsible Road Trips in Eastern Québec

Destination Québec Cité and its partners have come up with a set of responsible road trips in Eastern Québec as part of an industry-wide movement towards sustainable travel.

Although not all the suppliers presented here are carbon neutral and although travelling by plane or car will always have an environmental impact, Québec’s nature and heritage are unique natural pillars essential to any sustainable travel offering in the province.

The point of this initiative is to encourage travellers to make responsible choices during their trip. The recommendations encourage travellers to choose establishments that are making the effort to buy local, reduce their environmental footprint, and do more to benefit the local community.

It’s a first step towards making travel more sustainable, aimed at celebrating businesses that are working day in and day out to offer great experiences while preserving what’s there for future generations.
