Norma Winstone et Joe La Barbera avec Atlantic Jazz Collective

For its new project, Seascape, the Atlantic Jazz Collective joins forces with two jazz icons: British vocalist Norma Winstone (Nucleus, Maria Schneider, Kenny Wheeler, Ralph Towner) and American drummer Joe La Barbera (Bill Evans, Tony Bennett, Art Pepper). This summit meeting with giants of the genre will be presented in the intimate setting of Salle D’Youville.

Formed in 2023 under the direction of pianist Florian Hoefner, the Atlantic Jazz Collective also features saxophonist Mike Murley and bassist Jim Vivian, three artists who have been awarded Juno prizes. Their musical chemistry, combined with Winstone's unique voice and La Barbera's virtuosity, promises to transport the audience into an exceptional jazz universe.
