Sue Foley

The formidable guitarist and singer Sue Foley returns to Palais Montcalm to present "One Guitar Woman" in the intimate Salle d’Youville. In this new project, the multi-award-winning blueswoman focuses on the pioneering female guitarists, the true female guitar heroes who chose to express themselves through the six strings as early as the 1920s, including Maybelle Carter, Memphis Minnie, Mary Osborne, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Having shared the stage with legends such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, and Billy F Gibbons, Foley promises an intimate evening featuring a variety of musical styles, interspersed with personal anecdotes. This is a rare opportunity to see this talented artist up close.
