Welcome to Old Québec

NYC-based Canadian travel journalist Oneika Raymond spends a day discovering the new and the historic in Québec City.

Oneika’s journey begins with Renaud Philippe, an independent photographer. We couldn’t think of anyone better to show her some of the city’s most snappable sites in picturesque Old Québec. UNESCO World Heritage Site? Check! One of the last remaining fortified cities in North America? Double-check!

Next up, a refreshing pint at local microbrewery Le Sacrement. Québec City brews some of the finest frothies in the entire country, and here you can sample some of the best. Not to mention another of our most renowned local delicacies. We’ll give you a hint. It rhymes with “routine.”

To slow things down a little, she ends the day with a relaxing moment at one of our most inviting spas, Strøm Spa Nordique. And yes. It does have a view of the mighty St. Lawrence River, just past the infinity pool. Talk about endless indulgence.
