Emanuel Ax joue Beethoven
A remarkable surprise: an impromptu visit from the celebrated Emanuel Ax. Together with Clemens Schuldt, the internationally renowned pianist is taking advantage of his time in Canada to make an unexpected stop in Quebec City, where he will perform a benefit concert in support of the Orchestre Symphonique de Québec. Eager to contribute to the mission and longevity of Canada’s oldest orchestra, Mr. Ax will also take to the stage to set the tone for the Beethoven Festival, which begins in April. During this extraordinary event, the audience will have the unique opportunity to select, from three Beethoven pieces, the one they would like to hear performed. After the concert, Emanuel Ax will address the audience in Raoul-Jobin Hall.
