The Cesária Évora Orchestra brings together the finest singers and musicians from Cape Verde to celebrate the music of the woman known as "the barefoot diva." This concert, in tribute to Cesária Évora, features some of the most beautiful Cape Verdean voices, including Elida Almeida, Teófilo Chantre, Lucibela, and Nancy Vieira, alongside former members of Cesária Évora’s band.
In 2014, three years after the passing of the world music icon, her musicians decided to embark on a tour to honor her remarkable repertoire. Since then, they have traveled the globe, and now, for the very first time, they are performing in Quebec City.
