Thierry Eliez

French pianist Thierry Eliez presents Emerson Enigma, a brilliant tribute to the music of Keith Emerson, the legendary composer from the iconic band Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Accompanied by a string quartet, Eliez offers an entirely acoustic rendition of this project, which Jazz Magazine described as “fascinating from start to finish and simply masterful.”

A natural improviser, Thierry Eliez quickly established himself as one of the foremost jazz pianists in France. At 21, he joined Didier Lockwood’s quartet, catching the attention of André Ceccarelli, who called him a “rough diamond.” Together, they formed the Ceccarelli Trio, leaving a lasting impact on the 1990s jazz scene and inspiring future generations. Versatile and prolific, Eliez has collaborated with major figures in music, performing over 5,000 concerts in 40 countries and contributing to nearly 65 albums with his singular and unmatched piano style.
