Papooz, a duo consisting of Ulysse Cottin and Armand Penicaut, rose to fame in 2015 with their hit "Ann Wants To Dance." Their carefree, melodic pop quickly won hearts, leading to three albums blending folk, psychedelic groove, and refined pop. In 2023, they refreshed their approach with the album Resonate, produced in collaboration with Jesse Harris and Patrick Wimberly. Mixing melancholy with groove, the eleven tracks combine ballads with danceable rhythms, marking a return to the essence of their music: catchy melodies and lyrics carried by their irresistible, androgynous voices.
