Québec City St-Patrick's Day Parade

Downtown Québec City will resonate with the sound of bagpipes and the footsteps of participants in the Québec City St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The parade brings together four famous pipe and drum bands from New York (Pipes & Drums Of The Emerald Society of the New York City Police Department), Boston (Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums), Chicago (Pipes and Drums of the Chicago Police Department), and Toronto (Toronto Fire Services Pipes and Drums). Year after year, the presence of these renowned groups at the same event gives the parade an exceptional and distinctive character!

Celtic dance troupes, brass bands, and descendants of Irish families will also march in the procession.

Route of the St. Patrick's Day Parade
The parade will begin at the corner of Fraser Street and Cartier Avenue. Around 1,000 participants will first brighten up Grande Allée and Saint-Louis Street before passing by Château Frontenac. The parade route ends in front of Québec City Hall.
