Rendez-vous des artisans et artistes de Wendake

Upcoming dates TBA

The traditional Wendake Christmas Market returns for its 9th edition, offering a unique opportunity to discover the culture and craftsmanship of the First Nations. Nearly 50 artisans and artists will showcase a range of products, including jewelry, clothing, wellness items, and decorative objects. An outdoor shaputuan will also be set up for demonstrations, talks, storytelling, and legends, creating a warm atmosphere for all visitors.

This year, the market welcomes Mélanie Savard, owner of Yänonhchia' Art et Culture, as the event’s patron. A Wendat mother and artisan for 30 years, Ms. Savard is passionate about sharing the knowledge and history of her community. She aims to inspire the public by showcasing the beauty and richness of her people while fostering inter-nation exchanges to reduce prejudice and ongoing violence toward First Nations.
