Carmina Burana - 75e anniversaire du Chœur de l’Université Laval

To celebrate its 75th anniversary and the 130th birthday of Carl Orff, the Laval University Choir will present the musical masterpiece Carmina Burana. Under the musical and artistic direction of Guy Lavigne, the Choir, composed of over a hundred singers, will be accompanied by around forty professional musicians and three soloists.

Come discover or rediscover this monumental work and immerse yourself in a universe reflecting the fate of humanity. An interesting historical note: it was the Laval University Choir and the Quebec Symphony Orchestra that first performed this mythical piece in Quebec City, back in December 1963, right here at the Palais Montcalm.
