Plein Art

Upcoming dates TBA

Since 1980, Plein art has been the largest summer gathering of fine crafts in Quebec. Under huge tents, Plein art is an opportunity to meet designers, who invite you to discover their unique works, recognized crafts, eco-responsible and local.

All the products exhibited and sold at Plein art are recognized crafts, according to the norms and standards of the Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec.

More than seventy exhibitors from various backgrounds will set up in Quebec City's Old Port for two weeks of human and artistic encounters. L’Espace Quatre Cents will become a hub for arts and crafts: glassmaking, leather, leather goods, cabinetry, textiles, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, architecture. Plein Art will offer unique and practical items for everyday life, from toys to tableware and home decor.

The Plein Art Éclaté tours will allow visitors to rediscover Quebec by showcasing local artisans. Two routes are available: the Architecture and Heritage Circuit and the Capitale-Nationale-and-Chaudière-Appalaches Circuit. Visitors can refresh at the Espace Quatre Cents bistro and enjoy a festive backyard with entertainment. Free demonstrations of art techniques will be offered, and the public can vote for their favorite artisan and participate in the Coup de cœur award with prizes from partners.
