Steve Hill

Accompanied by his talented musicians, Steve Hill returns to the Palais Montcalm to bring us the music of one of his greatest inspirations: Jimi Hendrix. The audience will have the chance to witness Hill's virtuosity through classics like Purple Haze, Foxy Lady, and Voodoo Child.

Canadian guitarist, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Hill has built an impressive reputation on the blues-rock scene ever since his debut album, hailed as one of the "Best Canadian Debut Recordings" by Vancouver’s Real Blues magazine. Since then, he has shared the stage with legends such as Ray Charles, B.B. King, and Metallica, collaborated with artists like Nanette Workman, Michel Pagliaro, and Zachary Richard, and earned numerous accolades (ADISQ Awards, Lys Blues Gala, Juno Awards, Maple Blues Awards) along with a long list of solo performances. His rich discography highlights his talent, particularly the Solo Recordings series, where he showcases his skills as a one-man band.

To open the evening, Steve Hill will perform a 20-minute set of tracks from his latest album, Hanging On A String, in a captivating one-man-band format.
