Québec City Brighten Ups

75,000 lights and 1,000 lanterns turn Old Quebec into a magical 1.2 km trail of winter lights, stretching from Saint-Jean Street to Sault-au-Matelot Street. Colors shift throughout the winter, reflecting events and seasons.

  • January: Sparkling blues and whites under a snowy, frosty glow.
  • February: Red, white, and blue for the Carnival, with a romantic touch for Valentine’s Day (Feb 14-16).
  • Mid-March: A gentle, sunny glow signals the arrival of spring.

Enjoy the enchantment of winter in Old Quebec until mid-March!
