The Video Game Orchestra (OJV) invites you to its most distinguished concert to date: Metroidvania!

The term "Metroidvania" is a portmanteau referring to the video game genre pioneered by Metroid (1986) and Castlevania II (1987). These games not only set new standards for gameplay but also featured exceptional soundtracks that inspired generations of composers and solidified the genre's reputation for unparalleled musical quality.

The concert will explore the soundscapes of genre-defining classics (Metroid, Castlevania) alongside those of more recent releases (Ori, Hollow Knight, Outer Wilds), as well as other unique franchises. Join us for a vibrant journey that will take you back to the roots of contemporary video game music.
